Weiss - Newton Wedding 12/31/07

Well, we did it!  Our first wedding.  I have to say, it went really well.  Sunshine & John were the perfect couple to work with and their whole bridal party was so much fun to photograph.  Below are a couple of shots from the shoot.  Since this was our first wedding I picked out 50 or so pics to put on here, but I only have a couple so far for a preview so hope you enjoy!  More will be added shortly.  Congrats to Sunshine & John who are in Jamaica right now on their honeymoon.  Thank you so much for this opportunity!

The wedding and reception were at the Sovereign Center in Reading, PA

The Ceremony

These are John's girls.  Barie & Allie.  Aren't they precious?

This is Allie, twirling for the camera.

Here is Sunshine being prepped with all of the finishing touches.
Check out the detail on Sunshine's dress!

What a gorgeous bride.  Everything was perfect!

I love this shot.

And this one...

This was a shot Sunshine told me about.  Cinderella lost her shoe.

And the girls

Isn't she sweet.  She was the wedding crier.  Instead of having a flower girl, she walked down the aisle, ringing a bell, announcing "The Bride is Coming"

These are Sunshine's parents.  What a good looking family :)

And here is John, getting ready

And the groomsmen...

And Here...

I love this shot!  Rob took it before the guys were all ready
Check out this handsome little devil.  He is the ring bearer

Remember the Wedding Crier?  Well, she was a little shy.

And the ceremony begins!

And the first kiss...
And afterward...

Here is the happy couple after the cermony

And here...

These guys were a trip!  They needed something to keep them busy while waiting to get the bridal party shots.

This was a really neat thing they had at their reception.  Every person got a candle to light for when the bridal party was introduced.  As each couple entered they formed a line in the front of the hall where John & Sunshine walked through together.

This is after everyone was introduced.  Doesn't this look cool?
Check out this ice sculpture!

This was the centerpiece for the head table.

And the centerpieces on the guest tables.

Here is your silhouette Sunshine!  Hope you like it!

And some great reception shots!

He cracks me up!

And the last shots of the evening.

Congratulations John & Sunshine.  Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your big day!

Tribute to Lori Hopkins

This is a tribute to my dear friend Lori Hopkins who passed away today, December 24, 2007, after a battle with cancer.  She was such a wonderful person and was loved by all.  Rob and I had the privilege of taking these pictures of her and her family in July 07' a few months after she was diagnosed.  We both loved her and her family very much and she will always have a piece of our hearts.  Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

This is Lori & her husband.
