Erica - Senior Portraits

She's all grown up and getting ready to go off to college, but before she finishes her final year at Columbia High School, Erica asked us to take pictures of her last days here before she takes that next step to adulthood.  Erica found out about us through her sister LaTonya, whom you may remember we did a family shoot for back in November of 2007.   LaTonya loved the pictures we took for her that she recommended us to her sister!  Thank you!
Erica, we wish you all the luck in the world and hope you keep in touch with us!

This is Erica's Track Uniform
and her Basketball Uniform...
We were at the Wrightsferry Mansion in Columbia and they had the most beautiful grounds.
Love this one that Rob took!  I love her expression.

Then we went to the railroad tracks to get some other shots.

We must really be funny!
This is a before and after.  I played with the background color.  I really like how the green stands out!

She had to get a cool, suave pic with her sunglasses on...
And this is Danny.  We ran into him on the way back to East Pete!  I love the sign.

Ocean City

Ahhh, the beach.  Where else can you get up and watch the sun rise and feel the calmness of the earth around you.  2 weeks ago I headed to Ocean City MD for a little getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle.  Below is why I love Photography so much.  You are able to capture the feelings and emotions that I got to experience in real life.  Hope you enjoy...

Morning walk on the boardwalk at 5:30am
As the sun started coming up...

Can I say anymore?
My niece Clara had her first dip in the ocean.  Don't you love the bikini!!!
I love this next set.

And to end this post, Little Clara in the pool.  Too cute!

Pocono Family Vacay - 6-08

A couple of weeks ago the Mattern Family headed to the Poconos for a family vacation.  We went with Rob's parents, his sister and our niece, Clara and nephew, Coleman.  We had a really good weekend and of course had to get the cameras out to photograph these two adorable kids.  I am not being biased either!

This is Cole.  You may be wondering about the mark between his little eyes.  He had a run in with a porch swing and had to get stitches.  He's such a little trooper though.  His eyes are so telling!

Can these expressions get any better?

Uriah Sollenberger Turned One!

Meet Uriah, the cutest little boy who just turned 1 on May 5th.  His parents are dear friends of mine whom I've known for a very long time.  They celebrated his birthday on June 1st and invited me to take pictures of the event.  They had a picnic at Lancaster County Park with all of their family and friends.  I have to say, that Uriah had a blast.  He loved getting his pictures taken.  What a ham!

This is Uriah getting ready to take his first bite of cake.  He was very timid.  Didn't know what to do with a whole cake to himself...
After a little bit, Uriah wasn't too shy anymore
We then went and took some photo's of the little guy and his parents.

This is Donna and Nate.  They are such a happy family!
I love this one!

One of the last shots of the day...  How precious
